Cert IV TAE Orientation Day

All students must attend a one-day orientation and familiarisation of the Vocational Education and Training industry

In this class you will be introduced to industry jargon and you will start unpacking units of competency with particular focus on Addressing Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411).

Your trainer will work closely with you to establish what industry you are in (or intend to work in) and what you hope to achieve with your learning journey. This allows AITT to set the context for completing the rest of your assessments.

Your trainer will also induct you into your Canvas online learning platform – where you can access your course materials and join our training community where you will have access to trainer resources, glossaries, learner guides, videos and lectures, ice-breakers and have contact with other students.

Students are then left to undertake course work in a supported self-paced format. We hold regular workshops and open days on most weeks, and students are free to book into sessions or make an appointment with a trainer.
